Tradebe Lagoon and Pit Cleaning Process

This service is ideal for all types of pits, separators, interceptor bays and lagoons. Sludge extraction is carried out with the use of pumps, Hydrodredger (under water robots), floating barges, excavators, or Tradebe's newly acquired Dredge. Extracted sludge is processed through screening equipment and centrifuges or filter press equipment to separate and maximize oil recovery and minimize sludge disposal. Tradebe can offer this service as a long term contract or project work.

Dredge -Dredging industrial lagoons and municipal holding ponds takes special consideration. Dredging these industrial lagoons can include handling contaminated material in sensitive areas. Frequently, industrial lagoons require dredging because the holding ponds have reached or exceeded original design capacity. Tradebe understands the high-pressure situations involved in industrial production schedules and regulatory issues.

The Hydrodredger - Allows for the extraction of sludge while lagoon or pit is kept in service by using a remotely operated submersible robot fitted with a pump. This is hydraulically powered and different combinations are possible depending on the task.

Hydrodozer - The Hydrodozer is used to remove sludge from the bottom of the tank once the side manways are open. It can be broken down into component form, reassembled inside the tank per confined space entry rules. This technology is most suitable for non-confined space containment in lagoons or pits.

This system allows for an increase in productivity and reduces man presence inside the tank - one man operating the hydraulically powered Hydrodozer can replace an entire crew.
